The Dept. of Post-Secondary Education, Instructional and Student Services Division, is responsible for ensuring the quality of instruction within the college system through such activities as long-range planning, curriculum design, program approval, student services, and collegiate scheduling (Employee Handbook, Dec., 1989). In carrying out this responsibility, the division corresponds with college system presidents. This series consists of original and copies of memoranda to system presidents. The memoranda are from the Instructional and Student Services Division and other departmental divisions. The file is maintained in order to assist division, department and system personnel. This file contains information on programs, student services, civil rights, policies, moratoriums, pay raises, allocations, notification of intent criteria, State Board of Education information, Attorney General's opinions, guidelines for curriculum review, funding reviews, notice of meetings, and submittal of instructional calendars.
